B- What on Earth was it? G- Oh my dear, it was the shortest movie ever. But it tells the longest story I have ever heard B- Could you really see anything on the screen, honey? G- Yes, I could see the longest story in this universe! ! It tells the journey of a spaceship travelling right into the event horizon of the black hole which is at the center of our galaxy “Milky Way”! Moreover, its pilots are us! We drive. We drive it timelessly like easy riders! B- How come? G- Well, what do you understand when somebody says “movie”? B- I understand a series of pictures following each other in a timeline. G- That’s it! Well, what is its shortest form? I mean how many pictures does it take to make the shortest movie in the universe? B- I think two pictures are enough to make it! G- That is right, honey! You’ve got the gist of it, now! B- Look we have just two pictures right over here, too. G- Can you see this? This is the first picture and that is the second picture! Yes, we have two pictures! It means we have a movie right before us! B- Well, do we have a speedometer? And what has been written on it? It says *1000km/sec! What does it mean? G- It means 300 is multiplied by 1000 makes 300.000 kilometers per second. That is the speed of light! B- Wow, That means this thing is travelling in spacetime at the speed of light! G- That is fantastic, isn’t that? That is why I say this movie is the longest movie ever although it is the shortest one with only two pictures! It is because if something travels at the speed of light, the passage of time stops for it. That spaceship’s time is endless according to the people who stay and watch it at 300.000 (three hundred thousand) kilometers per second. B- Oh, does time really stop at 300.000 (three hundred thousand) kilometer per second? G- Yes! Sure, it stops because of time dilation! B- What is time dilation? G- Time dilation is (Girls stands up and runs with the speed effect of afterAffects and boy gets older but she stays young. After the effect, she turns and points at the boy with her finger) You see, honey, how have you got older while I stay young. Because time slowed down for me while I was running at my fastest . How? Let’s look at Einstien’s little secret which is C^2 = A^2 + B^2. B- That’s Pythagoras! G- Yes, it is! Let me show you how it works! (She draws a cartoon and starts drawing two light clocks. One is stationary and the other is in motion. She shows the differences between these two with Pythagoras to explain the time dilation and length constraction.) This is our first lihgt clock which is stationary. It doesn’t move. It stays. As you can see, a piece of light which is called photon travels from the light source here to the mirror here. How many meters do we have in between? Let’s say this lenght is 2 meters, which means the photon will travel across this 2 meters long lenght at speed of light. It means that this photon will travel across this lenght within 6 nano seconds which means six billionth of one second. The second light clock is now stationary for the first one and this photon of the second light clock will travel this 2 meters long lenght within 6 nano seconds. Up till now, everything is okey. But what would happen if the second clock moved at 100 kilometers per hour? This would happen! (She draws the second one while it is moving. ) The second light clock leaves 27.77 meters behind within a second. But the eye of the first stationary light clock will see that the photon of the second light clock travels along this(haipa’tönüs) hypotenuse, which is 27,84 meters. I mean the second photon doesn’t travel 2 meters but it seems to travel 27,84 meters within 92 nano seconds. If we substract 6 nano seconds from this 92 nano seconds, we will get roughly 86 nano seconds as a difference between two clocks. But the speed of light is always 300.000.000 (three hundred million) meters per second under any condition. This never changes. So, the 6 nano seconds of the moving second light clock is equal to 92 nano seconds which was registered by the observer of the first light clock. 6 = 92! Math fails here! The first stationary light clock is 15 times faster than the second moving light clock. It means the second is 15 times slower than the first when the second is at 100 kilometers per hour. Even if time gets slower, it can’t get slow enough to explain the situation. That is why the size of the second light clock gets smaller a bit to fit into scale. It is called lenght constraction. The smaller the size of the second light clock is, the shorter hypotenuse the second photon takes. As Einstien says, time, space and gravitation have no separate existence from matter. B- I see it better now! G-What is that? (She points at the illusion) B- I’m looking at these two frames of the movie. I see the pointer of the speedometer travels from below, from this point to that point… G- Oh, honey, it is just an illusion! B-How come? I see many a frame passing before my eyes. Are there really only two frames over there? G- Yes,that’s it! Your and my brain is playing a game to make us believe there are many a frame between those actual two… Moreover, our brains choose the shortest path for the travel of the pointer. Our daily routine says the pointer must follow the path from above because every pointer of each speedometer always follows that route. But this time it doesn’t follow that long route. It chooses the shortest path which goes from this to that point. That is what a Gestalt illusion is all about. (She draws another cartoon and starts drawing these figures and chooses proximity) Look at the proximity principle of Gestalt. What do you see here? Three narrow pipes or two wide pipes? B- I see three. Am I normal? G- Yes, you are very normal. You see three because your brain chooses the two lines which are closer to each other to make a whole or gestalt. It is because the pointer of speedometer is made to follow the shortest path between the closest points. Our brains change the present reality and rebuild the new reality although there isn’t any path or reality like this actually. B- That is amazing! G- There is more than the economy of our brains, honey! B- What is more! Please tell me! (She draws a head and explains the process) G- Think unlimited information around us->Then, 10 Gigabyte per second on retina->Then, 6 Megabyte per second to brain-> Then, 10 Kilobyte per second to visual cortex->Then less than 100 bits per second to conscious perception. Finally,we rebuild the reality only with that small number of less than 100 digits. That is the way our brains cope with Big Data! Our brains rebuild the reality where we see more frames than the actual number of frames... Time gets faster because the number of frames increases for us while time dilates and becomes longer for the pilot of the spaceship because there are actually just two frames existing. B- Can we call this illusion of Special Relativity? G-The thing is our brains do the job and tell us the story around us! Our brains build and rebuild everything to make us survive! They sometimes add new information to our present cognative model or they sometimes build a new cognative model which will fit to new information. All in all, our brains shape reality. Our brains make “it from bit” they process. Do you remember there is no spoon. Spoon is an idea. When you change the way you read the idea of spoon, you change the way the real spoon gets real. Reading can change writing. Remember how we have changed the time of the moving light clock by reading from a relatively stationary point. You can bend it through your mind. B-Wow! G-Maybe, time, space, gravitation and even mind have no separate existence from matter. They are the different parts of the same thing. When one of them changes, the others change as well. B-Woow, you have really knocked my block off! G-Well, these are the ways of deepest ecology of nature… Everything is connected and dependent on each other. B-How about the final scene of the movie? I see a white rabbit on a black background. G-What do you remember when you see this white rabbit? B- Let me think for a while… Gotcha! Alice in wonderland… There was a white rabbit in Alice in wonderland. Is it that? G- Yes, that’s it! So, we should follow the white rabbit! B-Hold, hold ona minute! What is that sound? It looks like the sound is trying to tell us something… G-You are right! This is Morse Code! As far as I understand, it says “White rabbit is your nature. Follow your nature into the rabbit hole, rabbit hole, rabbit hole, rabbit hole, rabbit hole, rabbit hole, rabbit hole. B-Hold on a second! Why do we have 7 times rabbit hole? Isn’t this spaceship travelling into a black hole? G- Exactly! But travelling into a black hole is like falling into a rabbit hole leading to Alice’s Wonderland… B- Oh really?!Wonderland?! Is there any wonderland in a black hole? G- Yes, there is one on the very surface of the black hole. We call it “event horizon”. B- What is going on that event horizon to make it wonderland? G- Honey, our latest physics says that we seem to live inside a gaint universe sized black hole. We are just a bunch of information on the surface of this giant black hole-like universe! And we are the 3D projections of those pieces of information out there! B- Do you mean we are holograms inscripted upon the surface of universe?! G-That’s to say, it is exactly what we are! We and everything else around us are holographic illusions swirling around! Think what would happen if we could reach that surface on which all the information is stored. Think honey, if we could see or/and change any piece of information on it, that would be a point where all the magic was going to start to enter the wonderland! B- Then, everything would be possible! Yeah, that would be the Hadamard gate or the Holy Grail of our very existence! It would certainly open all the doors of each possibility for each being! That is what wonderland is all about! Absolutely it wouldn’t be Kansas any more, Vanga! Why do we have Morse code? Does it stand for the information format stored on the surface? G- Yes, it is dot-dash-dot-dot-dash like 0-1-0-0-1 of binary language of computers! That is the information we have on the surface! It is like the information on Bloch Sphere! B- Fantastic! I have just felt like I was just a qubit inside a quantum computer! To be everything you can at the same time and place is really mind boggling! But you haven’t mentioned about why we have heard “rabbit hole” seven times! Don’t you have any idea about it? G- I am not sure but maybe we might have just 7 doors or gates leading us to every possibility of Wonderland on the surface! B- How strange, isn’t it?!
